Sicily Kite Academy is a Kite school based in the heart of Lo Stagnone di Marsala. A Nature Reserve that offers not only the ideal conditions to learn kitesurfing, but also a one-of-a-kind landscape and breathtaking sunsets.
SKA is run by Sicilian kiters, who have an authentic love for both watersports and their homeplace. The mission of our kitesurf school is to transmit the passion for kiteboarding, and to make the students of our courses independent kiters, able to manage the equipment confidently, both within the Stagnone kitesurf area and in any other kite spot in the world.
To do this, during the lessons progression occurs gradually and in total safety, according to the characteristics and background of each individual student.
OUR COURSES
A fundamental part of the courses is teaching to the students the rules of the sea and the wind, in line with the authentic culture of the sea and, obviously, for one's own safety and for the other kiters as well. These are the conditions that will allow you to fully experience that feeling of fun, adrenaline, and freedom that only those who practice kitesurfing can understand.
Sicily Kite Academy offers Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced kite courses, for those who want to learn from zero, improve their technique, or try some freestyle moves. Our kitesurfing courses are always individual (one student - one instructor), and can be customized according to the needs, skills, and schedules of each student. All our instructors are IKO and FIV certified and speak multiple languages.
The School Instructors follow each individual participant step by step while learning kitesurfing, constantly assisting them both in and out of the water, and establishing with each participant the right empathy, which is fundamental to easily transmit all the secrets of this sport.
Sicily Kite Academy is a partner of Villa Licari Stagnone, a boutique B&B inside an authentic Sicilian villa, which offers comfortable and functional accommodation with breakfast included. Its rooms are designed and built for a varied audience, from sports enthusiasts to families, and to groups of friends who travel for chasing the wind.
Our goal is to offer a perfect stay for both sportsmen and those who prefer a relaxing stay.
Villa Licari is just a two-minute walk away from the Kite area of Lo Stagnone, thus representing a perfect solution for staying on the spot.
