The sea baptism is not preparatory to the basic kitesurfing course, but is simply the first module, you will be able to go on with the basic course without any problems.

Basic kitesurfing course

Welcome to the world of kitesurfing, The basic kitesurfing course is able starting from scratch in 6 hours of lessons that can be divided into 2 or 3 days to take you to the first edges independently with Kitesurfing on your board.

Don’t worry, we call it theory, but it’s a hands-on class in its own right: you’ll learn how to cock your kitesurf and use wing safeties before entering the water

First check

Once on the water with a certified instructor you will learn how to fly the kite and direct it into the wind window and power zone. The chosen wing will always have a size commensurate with the wind.

Bodydrag

is the very first approach to kite pulling, you will learn to move through the water in all directions dragged by the wing. For everyone it is a magnificent experience.

Waterstart – board departures

Once on the water with a certified instructor you will learn how to fly the kite and direct it into the wind window and power zone. The chosen wing will always have a size commensurate with the wind.

The basic kitesurfing course is intended to be 1-to-1 1 instructor a student

The basic kitesurfing course means 1 student and 2 instructors: the best solution if you want to learn kitesurfing together with a friend a partner or a family member

Intermediate course

Intermediate kitesurfing course

If you have taken a basic course elsewhere, or want to perfect upwind, starts or first jumps with kitesurfing the intermediate course is not for you. It is against in our own interest to make you lose hours in skills you have already acquired. Our instructors in just a few minutes will be able to understand your level and sew together a personalized experience tailored just for you.
After the course if you have acquired the necessary skills you can make a Kitesurf Rental

If you have already had a first experience with kitesurfing in a short time with the bodydrag you can pick up where you left off and immediately continue on the learning path.

If you started a basic course but failed to make your first kitesurfing edges you probably weren’t in the right place. Everyone learns from us!

Upwind is the cross and delight of first-time kiters. With a few simple tricks in a very short time we will be able to correct you in real time through the use of radio helmets, and you will finally be able to say no more about the famous veergogna walk.

What is the best time for wind at Stagnone
At Stagnone the season starts in March until late December, spring and fall are the windiest months, but in Summer from June to October we have thermal winds (also not predicted by the best apps) from 12 to 30 knots!
Impossible to say which month is best for kitesurfing at the stagnone. Here is a link with month-by-month statistics from Wind Finder

What should I bring with me for a kitesurfing course.

A swimsuit, sunscreen a beach towel and a pair of flip flops is all you need to start your Kite course

What to do if there is no Wind: Activities and places around the kitesurfing area

on the off chance that there is not enough wind at Stagnone for kitesurfing sessions or kite courses, you can book a yoga class, bike trails along the lagoon and the Stagnone bike path, enjoy the nearby beach, or take advantage of Marsala’s logistical location to explore the surrounding area: The Egadi Islands, San Vito lo Capo, the Zingaro reserve etc.
